ROW swimmers @ Wilmot Invitational

Swimmers from our SD, AGD, JD1, JD2, and RSA Comp teams represented ROW last weekend in the Wilmot Fall Invitational. While it was another unconventional format (Friday/Saturday PM prelim, with Saturday/Sunday AM finals), it allowed our senior athletes to take Sunday afternoon off, providing a little bit of downtime for rest heading into some upcoming meets in the next few weeks.

 

This meet was a fun one, with many brand-new experiences for athletes over the course of the weekend. Our swimmers experienced many firsts, including their first time qualifying for finals, first individual and/or relay medals, first time swimming 100s for our JD2 group, first time 100 flys for our JD1 group, plus some first-time relays!

 

We had a huge number of personal bests: 313! Also, many of our swimmers also came away from the meet with individual medals, including 16 Gold, 19 Silver, and 12 Bronze!
