More Swim Canada, Swim Ontario and WOSA accolades for ROW swimmers

We have some more exciting developments to share with you as we continue to celebrate the success of our ROW swimmers.

 

Firstly, we would like to congratulate Patrick L on being named to the Swim Canada "National Development Program ID Team". For more information on this program, please visit  this link.

 

We would next like to congratulate Sunny X on being named to the Swim Ontario Youth Medley Program! Sunny has been selected as part of the top 8 females and top 8 males in Ontario, based on FINA points in IM events. Age groups included: Boys born in 2008 and younger, and girls born in 2009 and younger. Stage 1 was held on Nov 9 at TPASC, Stage 2 will be held January 18, and Stage 3 will be held in April (TBD).

 

Finally, we have some news to share regarding the WOSA Regional Selection Camp. ROW has the most athletes selected of  any club -- making up 25% of the total! 

 

 

The criteria for selection included:

• Top 4 boys and top 4 girls in the Western Ontario Swimming Association (WOSA)
• Each birth year from 2009-2012
• "Top" is defined as 200IM FINA points + Next best event FINA points
