ROW wins Swim Ontario's award for the most improved Female team at summer OSC 2023

As we head into more competitions in the new swim season we’d like to take a few moments to recognize some more noteworthy achievements by our athletes over the last few months.

We had a great group of female swimmers attend the Ontario Swimming Championships (OSC) Summer competition. Le Anne D, Olivia G, Sophie R, Katherine S, and Sunny X represented ROW at this event just a few months ago. We would once again like to share a huge congratulations to all on their impressive individual accomplishments!  But equally important was their showing as a group, including a medal in the 4x100 relay and a trophy for Female Most Improved Team!

Another cause for celebration is the list of ROW athletes who have entered this new swim season pre-qualified to race at Provincial & National meets!

• Patrick L and Sunny X – Qualified to compete at Olympic Trials
• Le Anne D and Sophie R – Qualified to compete at Canadian Junior Championships (CJCs)
• Katherine S – Qualified to compete at Eastern Championships and OSCs
• Devin PW, Edward N, Ben R, Lucas LB, Ayla B, Lulu S, Joseph L, Olivia G, Geneva S, Michael T, Aris C, Nic W, Kentaro D and Nathan W – Qualified to compete at OYJs
• Chris R, Edan W, Nikkolai T, Athena L, Ethan W, Olivia S and Finn O – Qualified to compete at Festivals
