Championship meets this weekend: OYJ and Festivals!

We are excited to bring to you some pre-meet information regarding our next two championship meets coming up this weekend! We will be seeing 15 swimmers attending Ontario Youth-Juniors in Markham and 14 attending Festivals in Etobicoke. This is the highest number of athletes we have sent to both meets since OYJ’s formulated into existence in 2018!

Both competitions are provincial-level meets meaning we will see swimmers from across Ontario coming together to compete against some of the best in the province. Many ROW athletes are seeded to come top 8 in individual events meaning they are ranked in positions that give them opportunities to score points and even duke it out for medals!

Our athletes have worked tirelessly through the preparation process in training to help them achieve their goals this season. We are excited to see the swimmers stand up and race tough through their final events of the season. Keep an eye out for our relays at both meets, we have even more relays entered during our summer championship meet season than we did back in the winter!
