MAC Rising Stars (Markham) - meet update
Our 12& under athletes headed to the Markham Pan Am pool to compete in our final meet of May at the MAC Rising Stars meet, which took place on May 27-28. Loaded with team spirit, enthusiasm, and a desire to race, our younger athletes got the opportunity to compete against some of the larger GTA swim teams that they rarely get to match up against in the racing pool.
16 swimmers from Paris, Beijing and Barcelona stood up and raced hard to accomplish 52 personal bests over the two day competition. We saw some athletes racing personally never-before swum events, while others have improved strokes by adding new technical elements into their races. It was fantastic to see some our youngest athletes continue to make massive strides forward as we approach the end of our swim season!

Paris, Beijing and Barcelona athletes now have their sights set on their last meet of the season – BAD Outdoor Invitational June 23-25th.
